WYATT E. & Earth Ship
Genre: Drone, Doom
WYATT E. is a belgian drone/doom metal band.
In 2015, their debut EP Mount Sinai/Aswan caught the eye of Shalosh Cult, a Jerusalem-based label which released their critically acclaimed debut album Exile to Beyn Neharot in 2017.
In 2022, their second full-length record “āl bēlūti dārû” (“The Eternal City” in Akkadian language) marks the rise of the band on the doom scene. Mixed by the godfather of doom Billy Anderson (Sleep, Om, Melvins,…), the album led them to a 95-concert tour across Europe and the Middle East. They played at notable events such as Roadburn Mystic Festival, DesertFest London, ArcTanGent, DesertFest Belgium, Dunajam, Stoned From The Underground, Red Smoke Festival, A Colossal Weekend, Rock in Bourlon, Dour Festival, Fusion Festival, Stick & Stone, Astral Festival Bristol, Black Earth Festival and many more.
In 2023, the group composed for the motion picture soundtrack Bowling Saturne and released Roadburn commissioned live-collaboration with the English band Five The Hierophant and singer Tomer Damsky under the name Atonia. Now the band has signed to Heavy Psych Sounds and will released a brand new album in early 2025.

EARTH SHIP
EARTHSHIP was launched by former THE OCEAN drummer, Jan Oberg, in the Spring of 2010. Debut album Exit Eden was a trip through the vast black sea of doom, metal and prog n’roll, released on Pelagic Records in early 2011. The band played their very first show supporting TORCHE in Berlin in December 2010, followed by a monsterous tour with THE OCEAN, RED FANG and INTRONAUT in 2011.
Shortly before the tour, bass player Gutschke literally disappeared from the map and was replaced by Jan’s wife, Sabine, on bass guitar. 2012 finally saw the band shrink to a threepiece: THE OCEAN mainman Robin Staps, who had played with the band since the beginning, left the band due his commitments elsewhere.
That year saw the release of second album Iron Chest. EARTHSHIP’s abrasive, heavy custom sound had grown and reached a new level of intensity.
As Rocksound (UK) put it: “It’s pretty clear that Earthship are on the course for greatness“.
